CDP - Call to Action

Plan for the day

1pm – Meeting in Liberty Hall Theatre (with speakers from sector)
2pm – March to the Department of Finance

What we need to do

- Encourage everyone involved with your CDP to come to the protest (workers, volunteers, service users & the community)
- Bring banners, make up placards
- Bring drums / whistles, anything that makes noise

This protest is about putting a focus on vital work of CDPs and how further cuts will impact on communities. A protest for the 30th September is also planned for the Community Sector as a whole, but the situation in so precarious for CDPs that we need to make a stand on the 8th September.
