Transcript of video
"Thank you.  Saoirse Jin is an Ireland based womens group in solidarity with the Congress of Women’s Freedom, the KJA in Kurdistan which is a pluralist women’s rights movement fighting for the rights of the Kurds and all minorities in Turkey.  And they sent a message of solidarity to this protest. So I’m going to read it for the KJA

Black Lives Matter‬! To our black sisters and brothers! The people of Kurdistan stand with you! ‬

Here are the women who fight ISIS, the Islamic State, in Rojava and northern Syria - the Women's Defense Units the YPJ - saluting your honorable struggle for freedom, dignity, and resistance! As the women in Kurdistan know very well, we need to build our self-defense in all spheres of life. You are among the most radical voices in today's racist, sexist, capitalist world and the freedom-loving peoples of the world deeply respect and salute your fight! Solidarity is the first step to world revolution! Black Lives Matter! As they say in Kurdistan - Resistance is life! Thank you"
