Scrap subvention. provide adequate funding. As you may know, subvention continues to causing many difficulties for providers, workers and parents in Community Childcare.

SIPTU are calling for the subvention scheme to be scrapped and that it be replaced by a funding system that holds the values of Quality, Affordability and Quality Jobs at its core. Our colleagues in Cork are staging a simultaneous protest.

We are calling on all workers, providers and parents to attend the protest and register your support on this critical issue. Please circulate this message to all interested parties.
